St. Patrick’s Day Advice That’s Worth More Than A Pot O’ Gold

Leprechaun dressed in oversized green clothing

Luck. Some people have it. Others… not so much. With St. Paddy’s Day just around the corner, many of you will be wondering if the “Luck of the Irish” will be joining you come Saturday, March 17th. Fear not, because you do not need luck when you have Response Marketing’s Top 10 List. In honor of St Paddy’s day, here are 10 things to virtually guarantee the “Luck of the Irish” be present come St. Paddy’s Day.

  1. Find a pet rock, name him Blarney, and carry it with you the entire St. Patrick’s Day.
  2. Learn how to perform an Irish step-dance. Not to be confused with the Electric Slide.
  3. Eat four, 4-Leaf Clovers. What good are they if you just pick them up?
  4. Not only rub a rabbit’s foot, but tickle their ear too.
  5. Do not wear a green article of clothing this week. Then on St. Paddy’s Day, wear only green, but it must either be Forest, Lime, or Neon Green. (Shamrock Green is for rookies).
  6. Eat a bowl of Lucky Charms, the luckiest of cereals, three times this week (as they say, the 3rd one is a charm!).
  7. Order a small shamrock shake from McDonalds. Drink half of it on Friday (the 16th) and freeze the other half to polish off on Saturday.
  8. Seek out a male of legal drinking age whose father goes by the name James and purchase two shots of Jameson. You will be very lucky to be drinking with a legend.
  9. If there is a rainbow on the day of, you must follow it.
  10. Irish. Car. Bombs. Enough said.

In closing, it would be ill advised to NOT do any of the above and still expect to have a lucky St Paddy’s Day. However, if you found these tips clever/interesting/engaging, imagine what we can do for you.

Stay tuned next month for our April Top 10 list.
