How to Develope Brand Identity & Consistency

Creating Recognizable Branding for Your Company

I was visiting a client yesterday and she asked me to update a marketing piece we created for her company.  I took out my orange colored flair pen to mark up the document and she commented “You are unbelievable, you even write with an orange pen”.  She then commented on my orange colored shirt.  She asked “Are you always on brand?”
At Response Marketing, our signature color is Orange, it is an important part of our brand identity.  Orange is important to us because it captures our curiosity to explore new and exciting realms.   It is electric, vibrant, exciting and defines our brand’s tag line  – “The Power to Provoke”.   I wear orange, write with orange pens and our office is painted orange.  It is a definable brand color that resonates with our clients and identifies us both on-line and off-line.

What is Brand Identity and Consistency?

When all of the elements and touch points of your brand are aligned you create an identity.  Brand identity and consistency happens when your brand is well defined and everything is “on-brand”.  At Response Marketing, we strive for brand identity and consistency every day.  It even shows in how we dress and the color of our pens!

Setting a consistent identity builds strong brands.  Is your brand consistent?
