Twitter introduces language targeting

Twitter now allows advertisers to target Promoted Tweets and Promoted Accounts in 20 different languages. This will benefit marketers who are looking to reach a global audience using language-specific messaging or targeting countries with large populations that are multi-lingual. This new language targeting along with the other targeting options such as interests, keywords, gender, geo or tailored audiences gives advertisers the ability to effectively connect with their target audiences. Twitter determines a user’s language through multiple settings such as language selected in a user’s profile and the language that is commonly used within the user’s activity on Twitter. Source
