KFC is Filling Up Tummies and Potholes Around the Nation


KFC just started a program where they will send Colonel Sanders around to five American cities to fill their potholes. This new socio-economic marketing effort is a component of their “Fresh Tastes Better” campaign launched in the beginning of 09. This road re-“fresh”ment is a way to reach out to their consumers on a personal level by lending a helping hand during these tough ecomonic times, where community budgets are tightened and road repair is not necessarily a priority. It is definitely a creative way to show their commitment to freshness. However, I can’t seem to find a url for the campaign anywhere…definitely a missed opportunity to spread the word…
