Facebook notifies advertisers of high-performance ad sets

Facebook has been improving the campaign structure to make advertising through Facebook easier. With these recent improvements, Facebook is now alerting advertisers when an ad set is performing well within a campaign. These Ad shortcuts show in the right hand side of your News Feed. Source

Instagram adds new creative tools

Instagram has added new creative tools for editing your photos. When you upload a photo to Instagram, you will now see a wrench icon that opens a tray of editing tools for your photos. You can adjust the filter, brightness, contrast, saturation and warmth to each photo. Source

Facebook expands video capabilities

Facebook has been expanding their video capabilities with recent video metrics and Premium Video Ads, now they have announced new ways for advertisers to reach and engage users with standard video ads.  For example, advertisers who want to drive video views can now select “video views” within the campaign ad tools in Power Editor and the API. Facebook will automatically optimize the ads across devices, target audiences, and users that are most likely to view videos on Facebook.  Advertisers can also encourage users to view additional content with two new solutions. Advertisers that work with a Facebook account representative can create audiences of people who have already watched their videos and ads can be created for those specific people. Also, advertisers can add call-to-action buttons on their video ads inviting users to learn more and directing them to a specific destination.  Advertisers with Facebook account representatives can utilize Facebook’s reach and frequency buying to manage audience sizes and the number of times their ads are shown to those audiences.  With Facebook targeting based on real people, Facebook can accurately control the reach and frequency across devices to help advertisers achieve their targeting goals.
