Instagram launches Hyperlapse

Instagram announced its launch of Hyperlapse, an app to capture high-quality videos while in motion. Most time lapse videos require the phone or camera to be still while you film, but with Hyperlapse, users can video while in motion because it features built in stabilization technology. With this technology, users will be able to create time lapse with the look, quality and feel of cinematography.  Hyperlapse was created for the best user experience possible. No account needs to be created, when you open the app it goes directly to the camera, tap to begin recording and again to stop.  Once you have recorded, you can chose the playback speed that you would like (between 1x-12x). Once you are happy with your video, tap the green check mark and it is saved to your camera roll, allowing you to share to Instagram or another platform easily.  Source

Facebook Ads can now target mobile users by bandwidth

Facebook launched a new feature for advertisers that allow them to reach people based on their network connection used while they are accessing Facebook. Advertisers previously had the option to target users based on the type of mobile device, device model, and operating system, but were unable to give users a better ad experience because they could not target ads based on network connections until now.  Allowing advertisers to target by network connection will allow advertisers to choose the ad creative that will run smoothly on the given device and connection speed. Another added benefit of this new targeting feature, is that is allows advertisers to create influential localized campaigns, reaching audiences with distinct needs to be served.  Bandwidth targeting is available globally to advertisers using Ad Create tool, Power Editor, and the API.
