Celebrating the Holidays, Response Style
The holidays are a time of peace, love, and joy…and stress over finding the perfect gift. Thankfully for us, identifying the ideal gift was simply a matter of scanning our client roster. With Stony Creek‘s selection of brews, we knew we had everything we needed to give our clients a refreshingly delicious holiday.
A Gift is Born
Every year-end gift begins with an ideation session that revolves around the question, “Would I be psyched to receive this?” Though most of us would be happy with a $5 Taco Bell gift card, we’re actually quite picky when it comes to the gifts we give.
This year, the one thing we all agreed upon was that we would absolutely love to receive beer. As fans of Stony Creek (both as clients and brewers), we were really excited to share their beer with our extended family, and decided that a six-pack featuring the Stony Creek “Cranky” series was the way to go.
Humblebrag for the Holidays
Admittedly, our Stony Creek gift pack did have a bit of an ulterior motive. Aside from being some of our favorite beer, Stony Creek also inspired us to produce some of our favorite work. Each beer in the gift featured packaging and can design created by our team. There’s just something about seeing your work on shelves, in stores, and in refrigerators that delivers a sense of pride that cannot be replicated by a design file on a computer screen. Our hope was that all who got our gift would be proud that Response is capable of do such great work, and show off some capabilities that not everyone gets to see. Ultimately, we want everyone to realize that we’re not only good at what we do, we’re fun people, too!
Unwrapping Delight
It’s always great to hear positive feedback about your work, but we’re just as happy when someone compliments our clients on their work. Unsurprisingly, the Stony Creek six packs are receiving rave reviews. Within the week they were sent, we received about a 30-pack’s worth of good cheer. Here are just a few:

Before we welcome in 2017, we’d like to thank everyone who helped make 2016 one of our best yet. From our tremendous clients and network of partners, to our beloved teammates, we hope we’ve made you feel special and important, no matter the project. We have some exciting things coming down the pike in 2017, some of which you may have already noticed.
As we say goodbye to 2016, we say hello to the challenge of topping it. We hope that at this time next year, we’ll be toasting a few Stony Creek Big Cranky’s in celebration of another benchmark year.
