It isn't often you're in a meeting with a new client and the excitement about the new website leads them to ask if we can take down the old site that day. While we didn't quite do that, a few weeks later we launched a new site that lives up to the amazing Fortina brand.
Fortina is the vision of chef & owner Christian Petroni, winner of season 14 of Food Network Star and Chopped to create straight forward Italian food cooked in wood ovens.
Before we started working together, Fortina was just one of our favorite restaurants. But when we got to know the man at the heart of Fortina we knew we had to capture his energy, genuineness, and creativity in the site. He's the real deal.
Dining at Fortina is anything but ordinary. That's why we used movement throughout the site to mimic the energy of the Fortina experience.
While capturing the brand's unique personality, function never took a backseat. Information about locations, menus, and reservations was easy to navigate to.
For a chef who is always on the move and whose presence at a location is a traffic-boosting occurence, we created PizzaBot. A text message automatically updates the website homepage with what location he is going to be at that evening.
